Swiss private bank tops best wealth managers in Germany survey

Bank Julius Baer has topped a list of the best wealth managers in Germany, beating local competition in an annual survey by the Berlin-based research consultancy Fuchsbriefe. Published in association with Institut für Qualitätssicherung und Prüfung von Finanzdienstleistungen, the survey awarded second place to the German operations of Swiss bank Credit Suisse. DZ Bank International in Luxembourg came third.

Editor of the report Ralf Vielhaber said: "As a Swiss bank, Julius Baer possesses the complex onshore advisory for foreign clients, especially from Germany.”

Only five German wealth managers reached the top 10, two of which belong to foreign groups. (...)
